BRAND IDENTITY, ART DIRECTION, PACKAGING
Let’s put the pieces of punk together! Punkzles set out to be the world’s first punk puzzle experience and inject much needed energy into the sleepy puzzle space. To connect with punk-lovers of all ages, we had to create an accessible, yet authentic brand identity. Or face getting laughed out of the scene.
The final wordmark and identity references the DIY culture thats baked into punk, and the physical puzzles themselves, with custom letters fitting perfectly into the spaces in the surrounding characters. Locking the type into place. We paired this with some high contrast lifestyle imagery and product shots, and built a graphic system that allows room for experimentation and creativity while still being functional
